This post is VERY LONG! I ended up taking my good camera, which lead to almost 400 pictures! I narrowed it down to just over 100. Here goes!
We arrived much earlier than the slow Fredos....we won, we won!
While we were waiting we helped to prepare for the lobster feed.
Paul put Jack and Matthew to work.
Then they arrived!!!! Although, I was bummed not to see Auntie Kristen!
We headed right to the beach at perfect timing for low tide.
The kids headed straight to the rocks.
We were so happy when little Eden arrived. :)
Let the beach games begin.
Molly, Shawn and Avery spent almost the entire day on the rocks.
The water was warm, relatively speaking.
Waiting again for the slow Fredo's to arrive back at the house. Jack decided he didn't want to be the fast Fredos any more since all we did was wait for them. Next time, we'll be slow!
Then, Paul rang the dinner bell and it was time to eat.
We ordered lobsters for all the kids this year.
Molly liked the legs the most.
Shawn did a good job on the claws.
Matthew ordered two!
Even Jack joined in and strayed from his typical cheeseburger.....notice he still got his carbs in with two pieces of bread.
Then it was time to build the campfire with Bear.
The little ones could not get enough of the rocks even at the house.
Silver and Bear added treats to the typical smores by bringing Reeses peanut butter cups and caramel chocolates to melt........delicious!
After a quick dessert it was time for the Cape Cod Fredos to head home. Although, this year Jack and Matthew stayed with Thomas and Madison and we took Avery home with us for a few days. Check back for a blog update of more cousin fun.
Thank you Paul and Annmarie for an amazing Maine day!!!
