How Close is Too Close?

I'm glad that Molly and Shawn are close, but when things got too quiet at the hotel this weekend, I knew they were up to no good. I went into the bathroom to find Molly having a private moment and Shawn by her side to wipe her bum! When I asked what they were doing, Shawn's response was, "I'm helping."

Mite A Champs

Matthew and Jack played in a Newport Hockey tournament this weekend and were the Champions of their division. They played hard against some really tough teams. Great job boys!!!

Christmas Morning

Matthew and Jack were the first ones up at 4:45. They patiently waited on the couch staring at all the gifts, while we waited for Molly and Shawn to wake up. At 5:00 we decided to wake them up. It was an early start to a wonderful jammy day!
Molly was so excited to receive her princess bed that she asked for.

Jack made a special bracelet in art for Shawnie.

Shawn got some hockey sticks and nets of his own. He has been insisting on being the goalie the past few weeks. This is one of his saves.

Matthew ccould not believe his eyes when he opened an iTouch. Jack was immediately trying to figure out how it worked.

Molly and Shawn had fun on his sit'n spin....

....but Shawn would have been happy just to play with the cars Grampa and Nani gave him on Christmas Eve.
We were all so grateful to spend such a magical day together.

Molly's Christmas Show

Molly sang some songs for us with her preschool class. She did great! She wasn't shy at all.

She sat next to her two favorite friends, Ryan and Michelle. Poor Michelle was so shy, but she recovered near the end.

The Long Awaited Gingerbread House

Making the annual Gingerbread house was extra "sweet" this year as ALL the kids got to help. Thanks Sue French. We look forward to it every year!

Destined to be a hockey player

No, Shawn did not go to bed with the hockey stick.....he must have convinced Molly to give it to him now that they share a room.
