Christmas Week

It was a very nice first Christmas in our new home.
During their time off from school we decided to re-arrange everyone's bedrooms.  Shawn was VERY happy to have a desk in his room, as was Molly.
We also had our first snowfall and were able to go sledding in our own front yard!
Of course, eating snow is always a highlight.
The hill seemed perfect for Molly and Shawn.....

......not so much for Jack and Matthew.

We then celebrated Christmas with Nani Doe and finally had our fancy dinner. :)

New Year's tonight!!

Funny Morning

Matthew and Jack were heading to the bus stop this morning when all of a sudden Shawn grabbed his red Barnstable jacket and backpack wanting to go with them.  It is so cute to see him look up to them so much.  After this picture they went out the door and Shawn seemed sad.  He said, "I wish I could go with them on the bus."
Minutes later he was heard playing "office" in his new playing spot (his closet) with Molly.  He puts on a "work shirt" and says, "Bye honey, love you" and marches down the hallway.  Hysterical! Who knows what Molly is doing, but she is all jeweled up with binoculars around her neck, carrying her "workbooks" all around.

Christmas is Coming!

Our tree is finally up!
Molly and Gabby making gingerbread houses as her school.
Neighborhood Luminaria Night......so beautiful to see the whole neighborhood lit up and gather by the fire.
Grampa learned how to make a smore.......yes, he did not know how!  Molly taught him, she is the pro when it comes to junk food.

Cute Catch Up

Shawn loves to shop at Trader Joes because he gets his own cart.  The "shopper in training" sign made many grandmothers laugh.
Speaking of laughing......Shawn says to me yesterday.  "I have a lot of names."
 I said, "What are they?"
He replied, "Shawn, Shawnie and John."
"John?"
"Yeah, a lot of people call me that by mistake."
LOL
Molly found her Christening dress in her closet and came downstairs actually fitting in it!
Matthew lost two teeth at school and then pulled another one out on the couch after dinner!  Three in one day??? That must be a record!!
The Slow Fredos came down to celebrate Christmas with us early.  Yes, this is the only picture I took.  :(
Lastly, we finally got a tree and decorated it.

The kids were excited to wrap all their presents and put them under it. Yes, we were the family who marched into the dollar store with huge shopping bags and bought $74 gifts.  It was quite a site and so much fun. The kids are bursting and cannot wait until Christmas to give them out.  Molly and Shawn already made a side deal, "you tell me yours and I'll tell you mine."  Cute.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving at Nani and Grampa's was so nice.  TT made some cute turkey cookies and the cousins had so much fun with each other.

The next day we set off for the Cornicopia Tournament in NH.

During a break from games we set up a team game of bingo.

Mr.  Coombs had some lucky cards winning three times!!

Coach had fun spinning the balls.
Jack checks his cards for the cover all....
....and won!  (Rigged?)

The slow Fredos came to watch our championship game.
We won!

Problem

Sorry to everyone looking for pictures on the blog.  There is a problem with the site and many others are not able to upload pictures either.  I am saving all I would have posted, so hopefully it will be fixed soon!
