Carving Pumpkins

Everyone was excited to carve pumpkins.
Matthew was his usual goofball self, playing with the insides....
But when it came to his carving he was very serious and detail oriented.
Jack was a pro, he knew just what to do.
Shawn simply liked that he had his own set of tools this year.

Molly picked out her pattern, but had no interest in cutting it out.

To top it off NO SCHOOL tomorrow thanks to hurricane Sandy.........sleepover !!!!!!

Busy Day.....

First Shawn and his friends decided to have a worm race.  It was very cute until Liam accidentally stepped on one.  :)

Jack had a field trip to the YMCA ropes course.  He had a blast and we got some pictures since Chris chaperoned.

He even climbed up conquering his fear of heights.
Molly had gymnastics and is doing great!

Poor Matthew...........we'll have to catch up with him next time.

Our Newest Handyman

Jack has recently begun an interest in woodworking.  Thanks to guidance from Grampa, he is making all kinds of things in his workshop downstairs.  He has made toy cars, boats, and helicopters.  His newest creation is a sign to hang over his workbench!

Cute Little Cheerleader

Molly was asked to attend a cheering camp with the high school cheerleaders by her friend Nicole.  She had so much fun and looked really cute!

Shawn is "Star of the Week!"

Since school began Shawn has been waiting for his turn to be Star of the Week.  Well this Monday was his lucky day!  As "the Star" he gets to pass out snack, be the calendar helper, the line leader and help out with many other exciting jobs.

One of the great perks is that he gets to bring home the class stuffed animals including Arthur and tell the class where he went and what he did all week with Shawn.  We took him to the playgound.

And the hockey rink.

Speaking of hockey.......Shawn was upgraded to a mini-mite!  Yes, this means he will be on a real team with games AND be in the LOBSTER POT.  We are all so excited for him.

I was in charge of helping him take off his gear as Matthew and Jack's team go on the ice after Shawn's practice.  He is VERY adamant to do EVERYTHING himself!  He would not let me take off anything!  He kept saying, "I don't need help!  I can do it!"  in a very stern, (and tired) voice.  Tuesdays are going to be a long day.

He wouldn't even let me carry the bag!
