We made it!

Approaching the White House, all pedestrians were told to move away from the viewing gates.  As we walked by, we were stopped by police and ushered far away.  We later realized it was because Obama was coming outside for a live speech on the Ukraine situation. This was as close as we could get.  Still spectacular.

More walking through Arlington National Cemetary.  Changing of the Guards is always amazing to watch.

The home stretch back to our hotel! It was tough.....we calculated it must have been 15 miles of walking!!  With only a few meltdowns, the kids did great. Thank goodness for big brothers!

We have never been happier to see our hotel.

The kids headed straight to the pool, which was on the roof!  Very cool!
