Suprise Shawn!

Shawn had been talking about going to the circus all summer.  When we heard it was coming to Boston, we decided to surprise him with an early birthday present.

We filled the kitchen with balloons and blared Happy Birthday Shawn in the family room.  However, after MANY times over and over, louder and louder, he FINALLY came out of his room.  He said he heard the song, but it wasn't his birthday and he was too busy reading a Star Wars book he found in his classroom.

Once he realized what was going on, he was told he was going on a Mystery Ride and began making guesses.

First stop was a ride on the T, except the rail was shut down and we had to take a bus.

Finally on the T!  First time for Shawn and Molly.

No more elephants, camels!
