WLYC Sunfish Regatta

They have been talking all summer how they were going to race together in the regatta this year. Matthew and Shawn and Jack and Molly or each a team.

And they're off!

Both teams had excellent starts.  Matthew and Jack remembered their racing skills like it was yesterday....... Even though it has been three or four years since they have raced.

Here they are discussing all the drama that happens out there.

It was so windy Molly got blisters from holding the main sheet. Luckily she found someone to lend her some gloves.

Katie and Jordan were on Jack and Molly's heels each race.

Another great start!

This time both boats where neck and neck.

The races took a long time…… Hmmm, Molly, wonder what you're doing?

Matthew and Shawn got first in two of the races.

Molly and Jack's favorite number seemed to be fifth. We will see what happens tomorrow.
