We were invited to Marconi Beach with the Higginbothams in Wellfleet. The waves were HUGE.
As usual, Jack was the first on in the freezing water.
He and Matthew both ended up playing in the surf and getting knocked around.
When it was time to go, they said their feet were numb from the cold water and the pounding rocks.
Shawn had a field trip to Dowses the very next day!
I was in charge of his group and his buddies......Tim and Roman.
We found some really cool things on our scavenger hunt.
This was a last minute request to chaperone, as the night before, Shawn was upset going to bed. He didn't want to do something fun without me or Chris being there. Luckily, I had one more personal day to take,
The kids made a mermaid....
...and jumped in the waves.
Then it was time to ride the bus back to school.
This was especially exciting for Shawn, since he never gets to ride.
