Wow, I guess we should take up running!

Shawn has been practicing for his running race. He has jogged a mile with me a few times and even got some new sweatbands that he thinks make him faster.  He has been wearing them since Friday 24/7.  The morning of the Patriots Day race he could not wait to go out the door.  He motivated all the others to race too!

It was a perfect day!

He and Molly were in the same race both hoping to be the top 3 boy and girl.

The did some stretching.

We couldn't believe Molly came in second and Shawn came in third.  There were so many kids and they were really fast!  The video is great!

Then we waited for Jack and Matthew's race.  We were a little worried because they were racing against each other and two out of our 4 had already received trophies.

They had to run 2 miles!  They were exhausted!  

Dan and Liam were officials of the race.  It was great to see familiar faces, especially for Molly and Shawn.  We hung out awaiting the results.....

Matthew came in first and Jack came in second within 7 seconds of each other! It couldn't have been closer.  What a great Fredo day!  A clean sweep!  WOW!
