2013 Blizzard

Well, it was inevitable, that we would lose power during this snow storm.  We got about 14 inches of snow.  The house was down to 63 degrees which meant sweater, bathrobe and scarf for me, but not the kids!  They were running around the house in t-shirts and shorts!

 Next, it was time to hit the snow!  We haven't seen this much snow in years!

 Jack and Matthew tried to build tunnels like they did in the snowstorm of 2005.  However, they are a lot bigger now than they were then.....lol.....needless to say they were unsuccessful.

 That night we kept warm by the fire playing games, while the little ones frolicked around the fire together.

 POWER!!!!...........only to go out an hour later!  Booooo!

 By morning the house was at 51 degrees and we were running out of wood.  They were saying it could be days before power was restored.

Thank goodness TT took us all in.  The kids had fun in the snow together and it was so nice to be warm for a change.

 Nani and Grampa crashed there too

Literally!

Luckily, our power came back on that afternoon and we all could go back to our houses.  Whew!
