Shawn has been counting down all week to Saturday. He then counted the hours this morning until it was time to leave. FINALLY he could be on a baseball team like Jack and Matthew.
(He thinks he's 11!)
After a quick practice, they were ready to bat.
Jack offered some last minute pointers on the bench.
I find this picture so cute. It sums up how important this day was to Shawn and the love he had around him.
Matthew helped coach second base............some kids did not know where to run and he had to wave them in!
When it was his turn in the field, he played first base and LOVED IT! He kept saying all afternoon that he loved playing first base.
Can't wait until next week when he gets his team shirt. GO YELLOW!
