Halloween started this weekend with WLYC's Annual Halloween party. The kids were happy to dress in their costumes early.

The decorations were great. There was even a coffin.

Nick was in charge of face painting.

I think Molly had the best time. Dancing with everyone.

She learned the Cotton Eye Joe...

.....and how to dip!

Halloween morning
Shawnie's preschool did Trunk or Treat. The kids paraded around the parking lot trick or treating at parent's decorated trunks. It was cute.

Shawn could fit in our trunk.

Finally, it was Halloween night and all the kids were ready.

The scary skeleton.
Jayden - the red power ranger
A goblin from the dead.

And a hula girl.

I thought it was cute that Molly wanted me to be a hula girl with her.

Then the cousin party began. This year was one of the best. The kids designed a haunted house in the basement and took all the adults through it. There was even a dance to the monster mash that the little ones participated in.

Our adult costume contest was a little lacking due to the power still out at some homes. Cara and Joe just got theirs back on right before the party.

None the less, the kids voted and
Pocahontas won the trophy!

Thanks to all for making it such a fun night.
