The Craven reunion this year did not dissapoint! The kids had been waiting all week for Saturday to arrive. They were so excited to wake up and get into the car. This year all the Fredo's were fast.......we all arrived around the same time!
Then we hit the beach and the kids went running for the waves!
This year the waves were huge and the kids stayed in them all morning.
Even Molly gave it a try and belly laughed as her board soared toward the shore.
Shawnie stayed shallow, but as you can see from the look on his face, the little waves gave him quite a scare/thrill.
He will do anything to keep up with the older ones.
As you can see in the next photos, Frick and Frack didn't have any fun at all....
Once the tide when out the kids climbed the rocks and found a ton of snails.
When Bear arrived we knew the party had started.
Then all the Cravens trickled down and we really began to take over. They were everywhere you looked....... on the rocks, in the water and playing all over the sandbar. It was great!
Until a big wave came......is that Grammie in the waves??

Then we all relaxed a little from the beach.
Even AnnMarie sat down for 30 seconds. I caught it!
Then it was time to gather firewood. Jack and Matthew love this. Building the fire is their favorite part!

Bear taught them how to lay the sticks.
Then it was time for the Lobster Feed!
Matthew became a pro at opening his lobster and fit right in with his cousins.
Jack moved on from the legs and ate some claws this year.
The little ones tried it, said they liked it and then left it on their plate. I think they just wanted to be like everyone else. Truly, a hot dog was their dinner.

Next up was Matthew and his hula hooping neck!
Even Shawn tried it. Although, when his hoop hit the ground he would continue to wiggle. It was so cute.
AnnMarie was great! I think she was practicing before we came....
Finally, one of the most memorable moments for Chris and I was watching Molly put on a show for everyone. It was amazing to see her confidence shine compared to her shy ways in front of people. Who was this sassy girl? She grew up right in front of our eyes.
The kids were exhausted and were asleep before we hit the highway.
Matthew and Jack tried to stay awake for a while, but you can clearly see how tired they are just by looking at their faces.
Thanks to ALL the Cravens for a wonderful day. We truly enjoyed seeing all of you and visiting. It is a lot of work that it greatly appreciated and loved. The kids will always remember these get togethers for years to come. :)
