Our little Thanksgiving started the day before with A LOT of baking. Everyone pitched in. Jack and I made our first apple pie. It was delicious!
Molly helped to make our first pumpkin pie. (Not sure why this picture will not upload correctly) 
She was very careful to follow the directions for oven times and temps.
Shawnie and Matthew helped to make the sugar cookies.......yum!
Early the next morning Shawnie helped me read directions on how to cook a turkey. Next time someone should give me directions on how to "pick out" a turkey. Apparently 22lbs is WAY TOO BIG for the six of us!
He kept looking at the pictures and telling me what I should do.
Jack was in and out of the kitchen helping me with the side dishes.
Success!
Time to set our fancy table.......in the living room!

...we all wait to see....
....he likes it!
Even though it looks like Molly is about to spit her meat into her napkin (a daily occurance around here), she actually is eating a piece of bread and surprisingly ate most of her turkey.
How thankful we are for each other! :)
