Sandy Neck

Although rain was in the forcast, we (Marissa and I) decided to take our chances and go out on Sandy Neck with the Saunders. The water was freezing, but as usual, Jack was the first to go in!
Molly soon followed.

And then Matthew. The water was comparably cold to Maine.

Everything was going great until...... .....the rain came down.......
"I told you so", seemed to ring in the distance.
The boys didn't seem to mind, and grabbed their boogie boards.

Eventually the rain passed and we were able to stay.
Molly made a "Sandy Neck."
Shawnie took a nap.

And boys played pickle on a sand bar.

At low tide there were so many things to discover, the kids were busy until late in the afternoon.
It really turned out to be a great day. Thanks Kurt for piling us all in your truck!!!
